A pocos metros del lugar donde el 20 de febrero, Kevin Douglas Beltrán Espada estaba ubicado para alentar a su equipo San José que jugaba con el Corinthians de Brasil, en el estadio "Jesús Bermúdez", ayer poco después del mediodía se realizó una celebración eucarística, para recordar los nueve días de su fallecimiento.
La ceremonia que estuvo a cargo del padre Aldo Quelin duró aproximadamente 45 minutos, donde estuvieron presentes, dirigentes e hinchas del plantel "santo" que acudieron a la recta de Preferencia del estadio departamental, por supuesto los presentes, reflexionaron sobre el hecho sucedido hace nueve días, cuando falleció Kevin tras ser alcanzado por una bengala.
El religioso, manifestó que el muchacho de 14 años, aún permanece en los corazones de los hinchas y que por ser una persona inocente siempre estará en la gloria de Dios.
Carlos Saucedo, capitán y delantero del plantel "santo", fue el único jugador del primer plantel que estuvo presente en la ceremonia, llamó la atención la ausencia de los demás jugadores que al parecer no asistieron por preparar las maletas para el viaje a Sucre, donde hoy jugarán contra Universitario y posteriormente se irán a Bogotá-Colombia, para cumplir su siguiente compromiso de Copa Libertadores.
Kevin Beltrán nació el año 1999, vivía con sus padres en Cochabamba, llegó a Oruro, junto a su primo mayor, únicamente para presenciar el compromiso deportivo de su equipo favorito San José contra el "Timao", pero falleció por el impacto de una bengala que presuntamente fue liberada por la hinchada del equipo brasileño
